We hope that your University experience is an enjoyable and successful one, but if you ever do find yourself facing difficulties or challenges - don't worry! You never have to struggle alone, and there is a huge wealth of support options both within the Business School and from the central University, no matter the issue.
The Student Information Service
The Student Information Service (SIS) is a central-University team whose mission it is to provide general support to students studying in all faculties. You can contact them via telephone, email, or in-person at one of their five information points located across campus.

Business School Student Support
Are you experiencing personal difficulties?
The LUBS Student Support team can provide information and guidance whenever you need it. If you are experiencing any difficult personal circumstances, you can talk confidentially to one of our Student Support Officers.
We can help if you:
- Are experiencing personal difficulties affecting your wellbeing, your academic studies or performance, or your attendance
- Need an extension on a coursework deadline
- Have missed a coursework deadline or examination
- Have a disability or long-term health condition
- Are experiencing changing personal circumstances
- Are thinking about leaving University

Disability support

Out of hours support
The University has a range of daytime support services available, but if you do ever need to talk to someone in the evening then Leeds Nightline provide a listening service run by and for students from 8pm – 2am every night.
