First Attempts due to mitigating circumstances

If you have been granted a first attempt(s) by the School’s Special Cases Committee, on the grounds of mitigating circumstances, you will be contacted by the student support team.

If you have submitted and are awaiting an outcome to a mitigating circumstances application you should apply to resit the affected module(s) where you have not achieved a provisional pass mark. Once the outcome of your mitigating circumstances application has been determined by the Committee your student record will be updated to reflect in line with the outcome of your mitigating circumstances application.

Please contact the LUBS Student Support Team if you any questions about first attempts and/or mitigating circumstances.
