You must achieve an overall pass mark in modules totalling at least 100 credits to meet programme requirements. You must also have achieved an overall pass mark in all Pass for Progression/Award modules.
Details of the Pass for Progression/Award modules for your programme can be found here: Module and Programme Catalogue (leeds.ac.uk)
If you have failed more than 20 credits, and/or have failed any Pass for Progression/Award modules or not met programme and/or accreditation requirements, you will need to resit failed modules at the next available opportunity (i.e. August 2022) to meet these requirements.
If you have failed 20 credits or less, you may choose to resit any failed modules at the next available opportunity (i.e. August 2022).
Please note: Students are required to pass a minimum of 100 credits at each Level of Study to meet the Rules for Award for Honours (Annex 2).
If you wish to discuss your situation regarding resits, please contact your Parent school.
Resits normally take the same form(s) of assessment as the original. If you are in doubt as to the work you need to undertake to resit, you must contact the teaching school. Normally only those components you have failed or not submitted need to be re-taken.
If you are resitting an examination on campus or an Online Time Limited Assessment of 48 hours or less, you will need to ensure that you are available during the August 2022 assessment period (Tuesday, 16 August 2022 to Friday, 26 August 2022). The timetable will be published on the web on Monday, 1 August 2022.
Assessed work should be submitted to the relevant module area in Minerva.
