Become a University Mentor (Paid Opportunity for Black-Heritage Students)

Are you a LUBS student ready to inspire and guide young people in their journey to higher education?

The Insight2Uni e-mentoring programme is seeking passionate black-heritage students to serve as positive role models for aspiring university applicants.

As a mentor, you’ll help empower your mentees to:

  • Gain the confidence to apply to top universities
  • Make well-informed university choices
  • Build a strong UCAS application

What's involved?

  • Monthly online sessions (March to November)
  • Flexible scheduling to fit around your studies
  • 2-3 hours a month, depending on the number of mentees
  • Full training and ongoing support provided

This is a paid opportunity (£12.46/hr)

All mentors will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
