Paid role: Academic Writing Mentor
The Writing Space wants to hire enthusiastic students to become Academic Writing Mentors and support peers to develop their academic writing.
This opportunity is suitable for any student who will still be at the University during the 2025/26 academic year.
About the role
You don’t need to be an expert academic writer to apply.
You must:
- Have completed at least one academic year at the University of Leeds
- Be passionate about supporting other students
You will work regular 3-hour shifts during the semester to support students, with the opportunity for additional hours through pop-ups and projects.
The role is paid at University of Leeds Grade 3 rate (c. £12/hour TBC) and will begin in September 2025.
