Study and social spaces

The below buildings are available to use as study spaces from 08.00 – 20.00.

You can find a full list of study spaces on the Where To Study On Campus page. Or if you need a place to eat and drink visit the Good Food At Leeds.

Student Study Centre
This study space can be found on the second floor of Maurice Keyworth (Room 2.38). It has different styles of workstations and seating to suit your study needs with 14 computers. This currently has a capacity of 10.
Student Study Centre Upper Area
This study space can be found on the third floor of Maurice Keyworth, on the upper floor of the Student Study Centre (Room 3.07).
Maurice Keyworth Computer Cluster
This cluster is on the second floor in room 2.21 and currently contains 26 workstations. It is available for use by all Business School students during the building's opening hours. It should be used as a quiet work area.
Café Nero is located on ground floor of the Maurice Keyworth building.

Charles Thackrah
Charles Thackrah rooms rooms 101,102,103,104,105, G05 have the technology to facilitate effective group-learning, with furniture that you can configure to suit the task you are undertaking.
Newlyn
All teaching rooms in Newlyn are open for walk in study space.
Clarendon Building IT Cluster
This IT cluster can be be located in GR 04 in the Clarendon Building and currently has a capacity of 25. Please note that access is limited on some days as this room is also used for teaching.
The Western Block
Located next to the Western Lecture Theatre, this building has basement rooms which are intended for group work rather than individual silent study. The rooms seat around 8 to 12 people and equipped with plasma screens to enable presentation practice. Please note this building is not wheelchair accessible.
