My mission is to share these SECRETS far and wide, so that nobody has to feel lost or alone on their academic writing journey.
About the SECRETS guide
SECRETS is a digital resource that was designed to help students like you create first-class academic writing.
The resource uses each letter of the word ‘secrets’ to explain seven key features of academic writing through videos, text, quizzes and links:
E is for evidence-based
C is for critical thinking
R is for references
E is for explicit explanations
T is for theory driven
S is for structure
You can work through the topics in order, or focus on where you need the most help, and the whole guide will only take an hour of self-directed study to complete.
Throughout the guide, you will hear from other students who have used the tips within SECRETS to overcome their own challenges.
