Assessment Maps
Your Assessment map shows you the university week in which your compulsory module assessments are due, helping you to plan your time as you work towards those deadlines. This page explains how to read your assessment map - a link to download the map for your programme can be found at the bottom of the page.
What is an assessment map?
Your degree assessment map is the beginning of your route to success. The map displays the summative submission deadlines of your compulsory modules for the academic year, enabling you to develop strategies that will help you manage your assessment workload.
The map shows you a week-view of the University calendar. A black star represents a deadline for one piece of assessment in any given week. Some compulsory modules may have a single piece of assessment, whereas others may have more.
The time you spend at university passes quickly and assessment deadlines can arrive suddenly. Your degree assessment map enables you to look at where you are now and where you need to be in the weeks to come - leading to you being prepared for assessment deadlines and submitting your best work.
Help with University week numbers
The week numbers in your map are consistent with how the University Secretariat plan the academic year. The University year planner will help you to understand how these week numbers relate to the weeks of the calendar year.
Always check Minerva for more information
Maps only display the week in which a submission is due on compulsory modules.
It is your responsibility to check Minerva to:
