Postgraduate Course Representatives
"Course Reps", as they are commonly known, are democratically elected postgraduate student leaders who work closely with programme staff and School Representatives to speak on behalf of their fellow students on matters related to their particular course.
Apply to be a LUBS PG Course Rep!
Deadline for applications: 23:59, Monday 5 October 2026
To apply to be a student representative for your programme of study, you must complete an online application form and include a 200-word supporting statement, which will be made available to students as part of the voting system.
Voting will be non-anonymous, so each cohort will be able to vote on their candidates’ statements for their programme with names visible.
Please note: if elected, you should be prepared to have your name and university email address made available to students so that they can contact you about any issues or feedback they may have.

The time and personal commitment required to be a rep
Representatives need to be approachable, organised, proactive, and willing to interact with and represent people from all nationalities and backgrounds.
At the University, we adhere to the Partnership agreement, in which we agree that academics and professional staff will work in partnership with students, showing respect at all times.
