Attendance

For the Code of Practice on Attendance and further information on the University policy and procedures, visit the Attendance and Absence pages.

Attendance responsibilities

  • If you are studying on a full-time programme, you are expected to attend all term-time teaching activities throughout the academic year (lectures, seminars, workshops or practical sessions).
  • If you are a Masters student, you are also expected to attend dissertation sessions during the summer - more information can be found on our Dissertations and Projects pages.
  • You must attend your timetabled teaching activities only. This is essential for any face-to-face sessions to ensure social distancing can be maintained.
