Minerva

Minerva is the institutional Virtual Learning Environment, it gives you easy access to all your digital learning resources as well as links to essential services such as email, your timetable and much more.

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is Microsoft's productivity suite - find out how to install these applications and access your 5TB of OneDrive cloud storage to support your studies.

Vevox

Vevox is the University’s in-class polling tool, enabling you to respond to questions and polls created by teaching staff in physical and online teaching environments.

Gradescope

Gradescope is an assessment platform that allows you to submit assignments such as handwritten answer sheets and video presentations.

Padlet

Padlet allows you to create collaborative boards to collate ideas and develop projects.

PebblePad

PebblePad is an eportfolio tool which allows you to build evidence of your progress throughout your learning journey.

Top Hat

Top Hat is an online system that staff can use to assign teaching and learning activities for you to access either live and/or asynchronously. It can also be used to deliver summative and formative assessments.

BoB (Box of Broadcasts)

BoB is a shared online off-air TV and radio recording service for UK higher and further education institutions. It includes a searchable archive of broadcast content, the facility to schedule recordings, create and share playlists, and create clips, a one-click citation reference facility and searchable transcripts for all English language programmes.

VideoLeeds

VideoLeeds is the University's video sharing website, allowing you to share content with university staff and students, as well as the wider public.

Access to free learning content

As a University of Leeds student, you have free access to these rich learning resources and financial content.

Coursera

Coursera is an online learning platform offering thousands of online courses created in partnership with world-leading education institutions and organisations. Completion of these courses provides certificates which you can add to your LinkedIn profile and CV.

Financial Times

Your subscription to FT.com provides access to the latest content from FT.com and access to exclusive content such as interactive charts and case studies.

FutureLearn Campus

FutureLearn is an online course platform that provides a variety of short courses. You have access to the excellent portfolio of Universiy of Leeds courses via FutureLearn Campus.

LinkedIn Learning

Your subscription to LinkedIn Learning bridges the gap between the career you want and the skills you need.

Collaborate Ultra

Collaborate Ultra is Minerva's native online teaching application.

Zoom

Zoom is a popular video communication platform that can be used for education.

Microsoft Teams

Teams is a collaboration and communication platform from Microsoft that can be used for group and individual online meetings.
