Student Education and Experience at LUBS
Welcome to Leeds University Business School, or as most students affectionately call it – LUBS!
You are now a member of the LUBS family, and throughout your Leeds journey you'll have the support of the many professional staff from Student Education & Experience – or SEE for short.
Watch the video below for an introduction to SEE, then read through the rest of this page for important information about how to contact us during your Welcome weeks and throughout the rest of the year.
There is also an FAQ at the bottom of this page, covering the questions most commonly asked by new students.
Welcome timetables
Don’t forget, you have a special Welcome timetable for the beginning of your time at Leeds that lists all of the starter sessions you should attend for your specific degree programme.
You can download this from your LUBS Welcome Pack using the links below - and please also read the rest of the pack if you haven’t already!
Contacting SEE during Welcome
There are lots of chances to come and speak with members of the LUBS Student Education and Experience Team (SEE) during the University of Leeds 2026 Welcome period (14 September to 25 September), if you need help with something or just want to chat to a friendly face as you settle in at Leeds University Business School.
Registering your arrival at LUBS
All new Business School students must confirm their arrival in Leeds by visiting our main building to scan a QR code. After you complete that important task, you’ll also be invited to take part in our SEE Western Campus Treasure Hunt – the perfect way to learn your way around from day one!
To register your arrival, please visit the Maurice Keyworth Building reception anytime between 09:30 and 14:00 on one of the days listed below for the appropriate undergraduate or postgraduate Welcome week:

If you are a new postgraduate (PG) student:
