Booking an appointment

You can book a face-to-face or online MS Teams appointment with one of our Student Support Officers to talk about a number of topics such as:

  • Mitigating Circumstances
  • Extension requests
  • Leave from studies
  • Disability Support
  • General Support

Book an appointment through our online booking system

In your appointment, the Student Support Officer will ask about how your present circumstances may be affecting your wellbeing, your academic studies, and/or your attendance. Appointments are 10 minutes long and if a Student Support Officer determines that a longer appointment is required, we can book another meeting for you.

What a student may disclose during an appointment with a Student Support Officer will remain confidential to the Student Education team, except in cases where a student’s behaviour or disclosure raises immediate concerns, such as immediate or serious risk of harm to self or others. There are also legal exceptions around acts of terrorism, money laundering, drug trafficking.
