Team and Me Competition - Winners celebration held

The first ever LUBS Team and Me Competition came to a celebratory end last week when the winning team, We LUB You, joined Professor Cathy Myles (Pro Dean for Student Education) for lunch at University House. Also in attendance were Tao Jiang (Faculty Director of Student Opportunity, Experience and Success) and Chris Hoy (Deputy Employability and Placements Manager).

The winning team members, are:

Team 'We LUB You' were selected as the winners by a panel of Academic and Professional Colleagues and Student Representatives. The panel were really impressed with the quality of the video submitted and thought their idea of an app to connect students virtually and on campus to support community, engagement and collaboration really had potential. Team & Me was a new competition introduced this year, with students forming teams to come up with fresh and innovative ideas on how to make a positive impact on student life. Led by Tao Jiang, 11 teams contributed engaging and creative videos on a wide variety of ideas.
