About the speaker
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. He is currently the Managing Director at Nestlé—an £82 billion turnover business and the largest food company in the world.
Mark has held significant leadership roles across Europe, the Middle East, and the Greater China Region. As Vice President for the confectionery business, he oversaw capital investments, acquisitions, and research.
His International Speaker Series talk and Q&A will give all LUBS students the chance to develop their global outlook and gain valuable insights into the practical realities and strategic challenges of leading a multinational business. He will also explore the importance of adaptability and problem-solving in navigating the complexities of global markets.

About the speaker
Paul has more than 20 years’ experience of working at the sharp end of UK football at clubs including Manchester City, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Everton, Glasgow Rangers and laterly Nottingham Forrest. Paul has occupied multiple senior Executive roles at the clubs including Chief Operating Officer, Director of Corporate Affairs and Director of Communications.
His influence, dealings and work is seen around the globe. Owner sales, Manager hiring and firings, supporter revolts, creating dedicated women’s football operations and coping with COVID have all filled his email inbox at one club or another - "Managing the unmanageable" is something he has had to do consistently!
He joined Forest in 2025. Paul has also extensive experience in TV corporate and public relations having worked as Head of Press and Public Relations at ITV and Head of External Affairs at BBC North.
