We bring together high-achieving students from all faculties to provide pro-bono, high-quality strategic consulting services.

Regular Meetings & Collaboration

Our Project Managers and Student Consultants meet frequently throughout the semester-long project cycles to collaborate on client deliverables, ensuring high-quality and timely results. The Executive Committee meets regularly to oversee all projects, discuss improvements, and drive our strategic goals.

Skill Development & Networking Events

Our members benefit from frequent, tailored training sessions focused on developing core consulting and project management skillsets. We also host a variety of events designed for professional growth and networking:

How to Join

180 Degrees Consulting Leeds operates as a professional organisation, not a traditional society, meaning there is no membership fee to join. We welcome applications each semester for both Student Consultants and Project Managers through a competitive application process.

Applications typically open at the start of each semester.

Do I need prior consulting or professional experience to join 180DC Leeds?

Absolutely not.

We are an organisation built on developing future leaders. We specifically aim to provide you with exposure to this professional experience, so none is required to join.

Do I need to study at Leeds University Business School to join?

No.

We believe that the best consulting teams are built on diverse skills and backgrounds. We strongly encourage applications from students at any stage of their degree, studying any discipline, and from any faculty.

Our only requirement is that you are a current student at the University of Leeds.

What kind of clients does 180DC Leeds work with?

We work exclusively with non-profits, charities, and social enterprises based in and around the Leeds area.

Our projects focus on helping them solve strategic challenges related to marketing, operations, growth, and long-term sustainability.

What is the difference between a Student Consultant and a Project Manager?

Student Consultants focus on analysis, research, and developing strategic recommendations for the client.

Project Managers are responsible for leading the team, managing the client relationship, and overseeing the entire project timeline from start to finish.
