Business School Partnership Awards 2026

Has there been someone who has helped to make your experience at Leeds University special? Whether that someone is an exceptional tutor, a dedicated and helpful fellow student or anyone else - the Partnership Awards are your chance to make sure the whole Faculty knows just how great they are!

Spread some happiness!

Winning one of these prestigious awards celebrates the incredible achievements and contributions of our staff and students. Even a nomination can be deeply meaningful, recognising the impact someone has made and the difference they’ve brought to others on their University journey.

Go on - nominate someone and spread a little happiness!

Nominations closed at 23:45 on Thursday 19 February 2026.

Now a judging panel of LUBS senior staff and student leaders is meeting to select the winners from each category. All LUBS student and staff nominees will then be invited to a special evening celebration event on Wednesday 25 March 2026, where the winners are revealed and we celebrate with food and drink.

LUBS Winners are then submitted to LUU to be considered for the University Partnership Award finals!

How to write a good nomination

It will make someone's day for them to be notified they were nominated... but if you want them to have a chance at winning, then quality matters! You don't need to write a long novel, just follow these four simple steps and the judges will be eating out of your hand:

  • Explain the Change: Tell us exactly what is better now because of the person you are nominating.
  • Show Who it Helped: Mention if they helped one person, a whole class, or the entire University.
  • Match the Award: Make sure your story fits the specific award category you chose.
  • Give a Real Example: Instead of saying "they are helpful," describe one specific time they truly made a difference.

Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well
