What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is Microsoft's suite of productivity applications. As a University of Leeds student you are provided with 5TB of cloud based OneDrive storage and access to the Microsoft 365 suite through a browser or by downloading and installing up to five copies of the applications. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and many others you may have yet to discover.

How do I sign-in?

Your University IT credentials are what you will use to sign-in to Microsoft 365 and to authorise applications. Simply visit office.com and select Sign in. When you enter your University of Leeds email address you will be redirected to our institutional sign-in page.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a Microsoft application that enables you to communicate and collaborate easily with other students and staff online, through text-chat, video calls and collaborative documents. You can access Teams via a web browser at teams.microsoft.com or download a desktop/mobile application.

What if I need help?

Microsoft 365 is provided with institutional support by the IT Service Desk who also provide a collection of help resources focussed on the Microsoft 365 applications. Microsoft also provide help on their support pages.
