Minerva is your Virtual Learning Environment. Here you will find all the modules you are enrolled on and the learning resources and assessment information required to complete your studies. Minerva also provides quick links to essential services such as your email, timetable, LeedsforLife, the Library and much more.

How do I access Minerva?

To log-in to Minerva simply visit minerva.leeds.ac.uk and enter your University of Leeds email address and password. You will be prompted to complete Duo two-factor authentication (learn more about Duo on the IT Services website). Once logged in you will see announcements from academic staff and university services, along with links to access the modules you are studying, your email, OneDrive account, timetable and other useful services.

Where can I learn more?

The University IT induction will provide you with more information and Digital Education Systems provide a comprehensive suite of guidance to help you successfully use Minerva and its tools.

Is Minerva accessible?

Yes. Minerva has an integrated accessibility tool called Ally that provides module materials in alternative written and audio formats. Read the vendor's accessibility overview for information on how the product has been designed to be accessible.

What if I am having problems?

If you are having problems accessing Minerva, or any of its tools, you can contact IT Services.
