The most important voice on campus belongs to our students: your voice. Here at the Business School, and across the University, we are committed to acting upon the feedback that our students provide. But we can only strive to improve the student experience if you take the chance to make your voice heard. Over the coming weeks, all students will have the opportunity to complete one of three vitally important surveys. This page will help you understand which one is for you. Share your voice!

Whether you are postgraduate student, an undergraduate finalist or a undergraduate student who will be continuing your university journey into the 2024/25 academic year with us, there is a feedback opportunity available to you.

The National Student Survey
The National Student Survey (NSS) is an annual UK-wide survey which asks for feedback from all final year students in Higher Education on their course and University experience. It takes about ten minutes to complete and there’s a chance to win some brilliant Leeds prizes.
Whether your time at the University of Leeds has been great, or you think some of it could have been better, your feedback counts. The NSS is your chance to give your honest views about your course, to help us make improvements and help other students like you to decide whether Leeds is the right choice for them.
Ipsos Mori manages the National Student Survey and will email you directly to invite you to take part. Alternatively, you can complete the survey by visiting www.thestudentsurvey.com and entering your student ID, any time before 30 April 2024. Taking part in the NSS is voluntary.
LUBS NSS Leaderboard
As well as the prizes on offer from the University, here at LUBS we are also offering a prize draw for each department who reaches a 65% response rate amongst all NSS-eligible students!
Each week we will track how many responses have been received, and publish the results. Once a department reaches the 65% threshold all eligible students will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £50 Love2Shop e-vouchers.

The Undergraduate Programme Survey
The Undergraduate Programme Survey is managed internally within the University and it's a chance to give your honest views about your course, to help us make improvements for your future years. It’s now open for you to complete, takes about 10 minutes to do, and there’s a chance to win some brilliant Leeds prizes just by taking part.
Can filling out a survey really make a difference? Absolutely. Thanks to previous responses from students like you, we have identified key student priorities for development across the University in 2023/24.

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)
PTES is the only UK higher education sector-wide survey to gain insight from taught postgraduate students about their learning and teaching experience. It helps us to better understand our postgraduate students’ experience in the key areas of:
- Teaching and learning
- Engagement
- Assessment and feedback
- Organisation and management
- Skills development
