If you do ever need to have a confidential and non-judgemental talk to someone in the evening then Leeds Nightline provide a listening service run by and for students from 20:00 to 02:00 every night.

If you, or someone you know, is ever in need of urgent mental health assistance there are a range of options listed on the University website crisis page.

If you have lost something valuable, feel unsafe or need to report a crime on campus, you can contact the University Security Services 24 hours a day. They have also created this short video to introduce you to staying safe whilst you are at Leeds:

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength
