In-sessional Language Support
Leeds University Business School offers free extra teaching for our students who need further support with their English Language skills. This page will introduce you to what is available, and how it may help you get the most out of your studies at Leeds.
This extra teaching is called in-sessional language support - meaning you undertake it at the same time as your normal degree programme. It is provided by the University Language Centre and is available for 1st year undergraduates and Master's students.
The content has been designed to develop your academic literacy skills, using language appropriate to business writing.
The in-sessional support programme is provided free to students, but there are a maximum number of places available - so please apply early. Details on how to apply can be found at the bottom of this page.
