Careers and Employability
Employers want graduates who seek opportunities to grow throughout their time at university. Here are some of the ways you can enhance your employability at the Business School.
Careers Service
Our Careers Service is here to help you figure out what’s next, whether you’re a first year thinking about work experience, or you’re seeking a graduate job. Our team of experts and student Peer Support Assistants are available online and in-person at 5-7 Cromer Terrace.
Employability and Opportunity Newsletter
We send out a fortnightly newsletter on Wednesdays during term time. It contains a summary of the latest events and opportunities for undergraduate LUBS students to get involved in.
Laidlaw Leadership and Research Programme
Want to develop your research and leadership skills? The Laidlaw Leadership and Research Programme could be a great fit. Open to first-year LUBS undergraduate students, applications typically open in mid-December, and participants must be available across two summers for research, leadership training and a Leadership in Action project.
Q-Step initiative
The Q-Step Initiative helps you develop in-demand quantitative skills whilst keeping the subject focus of your degree.
