Nurturing Talent Mentoring Scheme (NTMS)

The Nurturing Talent Mentor Scheme (NTMS) is a full-year career mentoring programme that matches LUBS UG students with professionals in a range of business-related industries.

Through regular one-to-one mentoring, you will gain tailored advice, develop your skills, build confidence and grow your professional network as you plan your next career steps.

This scheme is ideal if you already have an interest in a particular career or sector and want insight from someone working in the field.

Mentors come from organisations such as Asda, KPMG, Santander, Unilever, PwC and JP Morgan, and include many University of Leeds alumni, offering valuable real-world insight into different sectors.

Closing date for applications is Sunday 5th July at 11:59pm.

The most valuable benefit of this scheme and my mentor’s support was a massive jump in confidence and awareness of what my current capabilities and skills are – I used to avoid public speaking in the past, but today I am more confident in entering a room, speaking my voice, and presenting in front of full lecture theatres.
