Tis' the Season..!

Date

Our Undergraduate School Reps embraced the holiday spirit this month, holding a delightful crafting event for students followed by a big reveal of everyone’s festive creations.

Students hard at work decorating wooden ornaments for the tree

The results!

On 6 December the Maurice Keyworth foyer became home to beautifully decorated Christmas tree, adorned with hand decorated wooden hangings.

The student Christmas tree decorating was a blast! It was all about having fun and being creative together, making the tree look colourful and festive.

As students gathered to admire their handiwork, they also enjoyed a platter of traditional mince pies.

Mmmm, pies...

The pies certainly proved to be popular!

Seeing people happy as they entered the building was exactly how I planned it. This year’s theme was togetherness, and it’s crucial that everyone feels at home here. I hope this becomes an ongoing tradition"

These events brought joy and festivity to LUBS and was a wonderful start to the School Rep’s plan to build community and a sense of belonging for all our students throughout the year to come.

We can’t wait to see what they do next!
