LUBS Entrepreneur Award 2024

The LUBS Entrepreneur Award is a both a competition and a learning masterclass. By participating, you will have the chance to develop the kind of skills in entrepreneurship which business leaders value the most - and you may even be crowned the victorious prizewinner!

How does it work?

This opportunity is open to all LUBS students, studying at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. It is designed and delivered by LUBS academics who have extensive experience working with industry and growth programmes.

You can enter alone, or combine into teams of up to four members and the award is made up of a series of varied learning experiences, each delivered throughout semester two on campus.

The programme will develop your entrepreneurial skills and mindset, with the ultimate goal being for you to submit a creative, feasible and innovative business idea that would work in the current climate

 

How do I sign up?

First, decide if you wish to enter alone or find three other LUBS students to make a team.

Please be aware that places on the award are limited to a maximum of 50 students, and places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

You should also have a look at the schedule for the award (see the bottom of this page), to ensure you feel confident to commit to the time required.

Done all that? Feeling ready to share your entrepreneurial genius with the world? Brilliant! All you need to do now is complete the application form by hitting the red button below. If you are entering as a team (4 people maximum, remember) then you only need to complete a single form for the whole team.

By signing up for the LUBS International Entrepreneur Award 2024 you agree to attend the following sessions:

  • Monday 12 Feb 2024, 17:30 - 20:00 (Entrepreneur Award Workshop 1)
  • Tuesday 20 Feb 2024, 17:30 - 20:00 (Entrepreneur Award Workshop 2)
  • Monday 26 Feb 2024, 17:30 - 20:00 (The Essentials of Business Planning- workshop)
  • Tuesday 5 March 2024, 17:30 - 20:00 (Entrepreneur Award Workshop 3)
  • Tuesday 19 March 2024, 17:30 - 20:00 (Pitching Workshop)
  • Week commencing 8th and 15th April 2024 mentoring
  • Tuesday 30th April 2024, 17:00 onwards (Finals)

Note: if you have a timetabled teaching session with a 18:00 end time, you may still join the above sessions.

All sessions will take place at Helix
