Appointments

Not sure what you want to do and want to chat it through? Want to run an application past another pair of eyes? Got an interview coming up and would like a practice run? Good news is you can book an appointment with one of our Careers Advisors and get support in any of these areas. All different appointment types run throughout the year, so whenever you need one just log in to MyCareer and look for an available appointment. Don’t worry if you’re not in Leeds anymore, you can also access online appointments.

Graduate newsletter

As a graduate, you’ll get access to our fortnightly careers' graduate newsletter with all the most recent events and opportunities for you. Keep up to date with the latest things you can get involved in, as well as be the first one to find our exclusive to Leeds vacancies and graduate events. You can also follow our Instagram for daily opportunities and resources to help your career journey.

Exclusive to Leeds opportunities

Did you know that as a Leeds grad you can access exclusive vacancies in the University and with different employers around the city? Whether you are looking for summer internships or graduate roles, there are plenty of roles you can apply to. It’s a great chance to get some experience after graduating while you stay in Leeds.

LinkedIn Learning

Want to learn and develop skills to boost your employability? LinkedIn Learning has over 23,000 courses you can access for free in a variety of topics – from branding to excel, there is something for everyone! All you need to do is fill a form in MyCareer and you’ll receive an email within five working days inviting you to set up an account.

Events

As a graduate you can continue to attend events both in-person and online. These include all the Careers Fairs on campus, as well as exclusive events for grads. You can check the ‘Events’ tab on MyCareer for the calendar with all events coming up and keep an eye out for the graduate newsletter for exclusive events.

Blog

Read about the latest news and employability tips, and even get to hear from recent graduates on their career journeys. You can access loads of valuable information on our blog from how to develop new skills through digital learning platforms, to the importance of networking and making connections.

Digital Careers Resources
